Public Hearing, October 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Canaan Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Canaan Town Hall, 1647 County Route 5, Canaan, New York 12029, at 6:00 p.m. on October 05, 2010 regarding Local Law No. 1 of the year 2011 – amending the Town of Canaan Zoning Law relative to Wind Energy Conversion Systems, followed by a workshop of the 2012 Tentative Budget. The regularly scheduled monthly meeting will follow the hearings.Zoning Board of Appeals, September 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. A public hearing before the Canaan Zoning Board of Appeals will be conducted on September 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Canaan Town Hall, 1647 County Route 5, Canaan NY. The matters to be considered will be a request for a special permit in Appeal 2011-2 by Bobbi-Jean Bennett, 13131 State Route 22, Tax ID #60.-1-37 and a request for two area variances in Appeal 2011-3A&B by David and Shalva Gliner, 530 County Route 24, East Chatham NY 12060, Tax ID #68.-1-16. These applications are open to inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so in person or by representative. Communications in writing concerning this matter may be filed with the Town Clerk prior to the hearing or with the Board the night of the hearing (eight copies please).
